REFLECTIONS ART PROGRAM
Students can enter up to two works in each of the following arts areas. Only original works of art created by
students for the 2008/2009 theme are accepted. Review the General Rules, and Rules for your chosen art category(ies) by clicking on the links below.
General Rules
Visual Arts Rules
Prints, drawings, painting, collages, photographic collages, metal etching, fiber work and
computer generated art. Works must be flat and may not exceed more than 3/8" thickness. Artwork may not exceed
24"x30" including matting.
Literature Rules
Works of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, prose, drama, short stories and lyrics.
Photography Rules
Prints up to 11" x 14" in color or black and white, including techniques of photogram, retouched,
montage, sandwich, and multiple exposures.
Musical Composition Rules
Original musical compostion, with or without lyrics.
Dance Choreography Rules
Original choreographed dance and performance presented on tape.
Film/Video Production Rules
Fiction or nonfiction video created as animation, a narrative, documentary, experimental,
or music video.
Complete and sign an Official Entry Form for each work of art.
Bring your artwork(s) and entry form(s) to the school office by 2:40pm on Monday, December 1st.
There will be an awards ceremony on December 12th, where participants will be recognized and artwork will be displayed.
